National Womans Day, 9 August 2017
Hi Car Junkies,
I am not sure if many are aware of what "Womens Month" is all about. Briefly, on the 9 August 1956, thousands of women marched to the Union Buildings in protest against the extension of Pass Law's to women. Women from all walks of life became equal partners in the struggle for a non-racial and a non-sexist South Africa.
As a tribute to the thousands of women who marched in 1956, South Africa commemorates these women during the month of August. 9 August was declared a public holiday, National Women's Day.
Car Junkies would like to support women in general. We have contacted a few ladies and asked them about their cars and to help spread positivity and motivation to all women.

"Well, after selling my Golf 4, I never knew I would even get a car as nice as that was. But then I thought about an upgrade. I had a vision of really going all out on my next car and my main aim was definitely to get a Golf 5. I've learnt to love this car inside and out. Yes, it can give me headaches and takes a lot of money but all the time and money I've spent to get the car where it is today, I appreciate what has been done. The sound, the power, all just makes me smile. I can't imagine my car not being MY car anymore. lol"

"My dream car right now is an Audi RS3. I truly admire the Audi brand so so much. And if all goes well, I hope to own one, one day."

We may not all have what we want but we will get there because we are all destined for greatness and we all desire the best in life, male and female. I appreciate what I have even though I am still getting to what I want. Life is tough, some are just more fortunate than others, but that does not make one who has less any different, we are all human.
